Family:Whitney, Nancy (1805-a1860)
Nancy Whitney (Macon Whitney), was born about 1805, in Barnwell South Carolina,[1] and died after 1860, in Russell County Alabama. [2]
She married about 1825, South Carolina, James E. J. Johnson. He was born about 1800, South Carolina,[3] and died before 1847, probably in Alabama. She married second, Irwin Conway about 1847, Barnwell South Carolina. [4] He was born 1818, North Carolina [5]and died after 1870, probably Lee County Alabama. There were no children of this marriage.

i. John Johnson, b. 1826, Georgia. ii. James Johnson, b. 1832, Georgia. iii. Joseph Johnson, b. 1833, Georgia. iv. Angelina Johnson, b. 1836, Alabama. v. Macon Whitney Johnson, b. 18 April 1838, Butler County Alabama, d. 20 January 1925, Gould, Harmon County, Oklahoma.[7] vi. Emily Ann Johnson, b. 2 February 1841, Alabama.

Nancy Whitney has been identified as a child of Macon Whitney and Rachael Debusk; however, this has not yet been definitively proven.
