Thomas⁷ Whitney (Cornelius⁶, Cornelius⁵, Matthias⁴, Cornelius³, Joshua², John¹), son of Cornelius⁶ and Rhoda (Gould) Whitney; born Mexico, New York, 29 Jan 1822; married Annie Jewel; died 16 Feb 1877, in Rock Creek, Colorado. He was a farmer. He died 27 Feb 1877; resided Centerville, New York and Rock Creek, Colorado.

v.	Mary Whitney, born 13 Oct 1854; married 17 Mar 1872, Z. T. Parker; resided New Liberty, Iowa. He was born 22 Apr 1849. Ch.: Rhoda, born Dec. 28, 1872; died 7 Apr 1876; Nellie, born 16 Dec 1874; Charles, born Mar. 9, 1877; Albert, born 12 Jul 1879; died 27 Apr 1880; Calvin, born 17 Apr 1881; Grace, born 2 Aug 1883; Katie, born 25 May 1886; Emeline, born 15 Sep 1888; Walter, born 10 Feb 1891; died Feb. 20, 1891.
