Julius S.⁷ Whitney (John⁶, Matthias⁵, Joshua⁴, Cornelius³, Joshua², John¹), born Hancock, Massachusetts, 9 Apr 1830; married at Lockport New York, Jennie E. Partridge; born Dec. 24, 1838; died 15 Jun 1888; married 2d, 18 Mar 1891, Lucy A. Partridge; born 1937. He was a carpenter and joiner by trade, but did considerable work as a millwright; resided Lockport, New York.

Children of Julius S.⁷ Whitney:

i.	Elbert D.8 Whitney, born 6 Oct 1865; married 15 Sep 1891, Aletta Brace; resided Lockport, New York.
ii.	Arthur S. Whitney, born 15 Jun 1867; died 8 Sep 1867.
iii.	Charles H. Whitney, born 29 Jan 1869; died 10 Sep 1869.
