Translation:
Herefordshire as follows: Hugh Welshe, by his attorney appeared on the 4th day [of Easter term], against William Yarward, late of Parva Dewchurche, in the county aforesaid, husbandman, in plea to pay 73s. 10d. owed; and against William ap Rees Thomas ap Ieuan, late of Clifford, in the County aforesaid, husbandman and against Robert Whitney of Castleton, in the county aforesaid, gentleman, in plea that they both pay 40s owed and unjustly detained; they did not attend, sheriff ordered to arrest; sheriff reported they could not be found; so they are to be brought before the court at the Octaves of Trinity.
