He married firstly, Lockport NY, Jennie E. Partridge. She was born 24 Dec 1838, and died 15 Jun 1888.
He married secondly, 18 Mar 1891, Lucy A. Partridge. She was born 1837.
He was a carpenter and joiner by trade, but did considerable work as a millwright; resided Lockport, NY.
Children of Julius S.7 and Jennie E. (Partridge) Whitney:
i. Elbert D.8 Whitney, b. 6 Oct 1865; m. 15 Sep 1891, Aletta Brace; resided Lockport, NY. ii. Arthur S. Whitney, b. 15 Jun 1867; d. 8 Sep 1867. iii. Charles H. Whitney, b. 29 Jan 1869; d. 10 Sep 1869.
