Willard Newton⁹ Whitney (Emory Stewart⁸, Nathaniel⁷, Nathaniel⁶, Samuel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Emory Stewart⁸ and Sarepta (Hale) Whitney, was born 3 Sep 1828, Marlboro, VT, and died 8 Nov 1878, Brattleboro, VT.

He married, 15 May 1855, Georgianna Mather, daughter of Cotton Mather, Esq. She was born 27 Mar 1836.

He resided Brattleboro, VT.
