Silas Dagget7 Whitney (Milton6, Asa5, Joshua4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Milton6 and Lydia (Cleveland) Whitney, born 3 Mar 1820, Pittsfield, MA, and died 1903.[1]

He married, 11 Nov 1841, Pittsfield, MA, Electa N. Parsons. She was born 21 Sep 1824.

He is a farmer; resided Pittsfield, OH.

v. Agnes E. Whitney, b. 13 Jun 1853; m. 22 Nov 1893, Frank Coleman; resided Nelson, NE. He was b. July 1859; is a lawyer; s. p.
vi. Adelia Frances Whitney, b. 22 Dec 1855; resided Pittsfield, OH.
vii. Edmund M. Whitney, b. 19 Jan 1859; m. 14 Feb 1891, Annie Purcell. He is a manufacturer; resided 17 Glen Park Place, Cleveland, OH.
