"8. William4 Clark (Nathaniel3, John2, Thomas1), born at Lyme (no record), died at Derby, Conn., Feb. 1763; married at Lyme, 30 Nov. 1731, Hannah Peck, born at Lyme, 10 March 1712, died at Derby, Sept. 1801 aet. 91 (g.s.), daughter of Joseph and Susanna (Griffin) Peck.
William's will, 8 Feb. 1763, proved the same month, named wife Hannah and children, Sheldon, William, Elizabeth wife of Joseph Hull, Susanna wife of Richard Watrous, Lucy wife of Isaac Smith, Hannah wife of Oliver Curtis, Sarah wife of Archibald McNeil and Eunice wife of Henry Whitney [New Haven Probate, 10:44].
The will of Hannah Clarke of Derby, 16 Jan. 1797, proved in 1802, calls herself 'advanced in age' and names her grandson Wm. Clark, son to my son Sheldon; four daughters, Elizabeth Osborn, Lucy Smith, Hannah Clark and Sarah McNeil; granddaughter Susanna Whitney, daughter to my daughter Eunice Whitney, dec'd.; granddaughters Susannah Allen and Anne Tomlinson, daughters of my daughter Susannah Chatfield, dec'd; son William Clark; and six grandchildren, Eunice, William, Sheldon, Joseph, Charity and Newel Clark, children of my son Wm. Clark [ibid. 22:219].

vii. Eunice, b. 15 April 1746 [at Derby]; d. at Derby, 21 Aug. 1794 aet. 48 (g.s.); m. Henry Whitney."
