p. 80, #938: Richard6 WHITNEY was not a son of Rev. Aaron5 WHITNEY, but of Ephraim5 and Marcy (WINSLOW) WHITNEY, and his birth date was 23 Feb 1767 (not 1757), Petersham, MA, according to Petersham vital records. See #968 on p. 81. Also, obviously the order of the children is wrong, and should be Abel, Charles, Peter, Aaron, Alice, Lucy, Paul, and Abel (again).
p. 80, #943: Moses6 WHITNEY married Sarah GEARY on 16 Aug 1766, Petersham, MA, according to Petersham vital records. She was not the second wife of his grandfather Moses4 WHITNEY, as given under #102 on page 46. They removed to Raymond, ME.
p. 80, #345: Marcy (PERRY) WHITNEY died 10 (not 28) Dec 1828, Stow, MA, aged 102 years 3 months, according to Stow vital records.
p. 80, #946: Jacob6 WHITNEY was born 7 Nov 1756 (not 7 Jul 1754), Stow, MA, according to Stow vital records. Obviously the children are not given in their correct order, which was: Lucy, Isaac, Marcy, Abraham, Jacob, Levi, Ruth, Molly, Mary, Levi (again), and Rhoda.
p. 80, #947: Lucy6 WHITNEY published her marriage intentions with James WHITCOMB, Jr., 17 Nov 1768, Stow, MA, and also 18 Nov 1768, Harvard, MA, according to Stow vital records and Harvard vital records. She married secondly, 28 Jun 1796, Boxborough, MA, Nathaniel SAWYER, according to Boxborough vital records. She died 27 Dec 1834, Stow, MA, also according to Stow vital records.
p. 80, #949: Abraham6 WHITNEY was born 3 Jan 1754 (not 7 Jan 1752), according to Stow vital records.
p. 80, #949: Abraham6 WHITNEY married 25 Mar 1794, Stow, MA, widow Sarah (WHITMAN) WETHERBEE, widow of Jonathan WETHERBEE, according to Stow vital records.
p. 80, #950: Levi6 WHITNEY was born 30 Jul (not Nov) 1759, Stow, MA, according to Stow vital records.
p. 80, #951: Ruth6 WHITNEY married, 20 (not 1) Dec 1781, Stow, MA, Ichabod STOW, according to Stow vital records.
p. 80, #953: Levi6 WHITNEY was born 6 Jun 1770 (not 1767), Stow, MA, according to Stow vital records.
p. 80, #954: Mary6 WHITNEY was born 3 Feb 1767 (not 1770), Stow, MA, according to Stow vital records.
