William Sylvester (1709-99) in 1775 was a member of the Committees of Inspection and Correspondence. He was born in Hanover, Mass,; died in Harpswell, Me.
William Sylvester. Jr. (1737-78) enlisted 1776 as a private in Capt. John Lemont's company, Col. Gamaliel Bradford's 14th Massachusetts regiment. He was born in Hanover, Mass.
Andrew Cobb (1734-1822) served as a private in Capt. Samuel Whitmore's company, Col. Reuben Fogg's regiment, Massachusetts troops. He was born and dired in Gorham, Me.
