Nathan Watkins (1736-1814) commanded a company of minute men at Bunker Hill and joined the
expedition to Quebec. He served as captain of Continental Infantry, 1776; was taken prisoner in
the Burgoyne campaign, 1777, and exchanged for a British captain of Royal Artillery. He was
born in Hopkinton, Mass.; died in Naples, N. Y.

Robert Hopkins was a signer of the Association Test at Londonderry, N. H., 1776. He died,
1788, in Francestown, N. H.
James Hopkins (1746-1818) was a signer of the Association Test at Londonderry, N. H., 1776.
He was born in Windham, N. H.; died in Williamstown, Vt.
Elijah Whitney (1755-1842) served as private in Capt. Benjamin Hastings' company, Col. John
Whitcomb's Massachusetts regiment. He was born in Harvard, Mass.; died in Williamstown, Vt.
John Allen (1713-90) was a delegate to the Constitutional Convention at Cambridge, Mass. He
was born in Watertown, Mass.; died Fitzwilliam, N. H.
William Fiske (1726-77) was a signer of the Association Test. He was born in Wenham, Mass.;

Issachar Ring served as private, New Hampshire Line. He was born in Salisbury, Mass.
Nehemiah Story, Jr., was master of the sloop ôLiverpool,ö 1780. He was born in Ipswich; died,
1784, in Manchester, Mass.
Nehemiah Story (1720-1802) served as private in Capt. David Low's Company, Col. Jonathan
Cogswell's regiment Masschusetts militia. He was born and died in Ipswich, Mass.
Stephen Barnard (1719-97) signed the Association, 1776, at Danville, N. H. He was born in
Amesbury, Mass.; died in Hawke, N. H.
