Job Sherman (1760-1838) served as private in the Massachusetts troops under Capt. Thomas Crandon and Col. John Hathaway. He was born and died in Middleboro, Mass.
Elijah Farrington (1750-1834) responded to the Lexington Alarm and also served as private in Captain Wheeler's company, Colonel Doolittle's regiment, Massachusetts troops. His widow received a pension. He was born in Attleboro, Mass.; died in Chester, Vt.
John Pollard (1752-1839) served as corporal in Captain Williams company, Colonel Walker's regiment, Massachusetts troops. He was born in Suncook, N. H.; died in Mt. Washington, Mass.
Oliver Lovell was major of the 1st regiment, Vermont troops, under Colonel Williams. He was born, 1739, in Worcester, Mass.; died in Rockingham, Vt.
Joshua Warfield (1757-1835) received a pension for service as private in the Massachusetts troops under Colonels Prescott and Vose. He was born in Mendon; died in Colerain, Mass.

Jonathan Sawin (1735-1822) served as private at the Lexington Alarm under Capt. Noah Miles and Col. John Whitcomb. He was born in Watertown; died in Westminster, Mass.

William Sylvester (1709-99) was a patriot of Harpswell, Maine, and was a member of the Committee of Inspection and Correspondence, 1775. He was born in Hanover, Mass.; died in Harpswell Center, Maine.
William Sylvester, Jr. (1737-78) enlisted, 1775, as private in Captain Lamont's company, Col. Gamaliel Bradford's 14th Massachusetts regiment. He was born in Hanover, Mass.; died in New York.
