Jonathan Salisbury, (1735-1817), was captain of the privateer Industry, served in many engagements and rendered effective service. He was born in Bristol, Mass.; died in Brattleboro, Vt.

Samuel Moore, (1761-1838), was placed on the pension roll of Franklin Co., 1832, for service as private in the Massachusetts militia. He was born in Sudbury, Mass.

William McCune, (1729-1807), served as captain in Col. Seth Warner's regiment of Continental troops, 1778. He was born in Scotland; died in West Brattleboro, Vt.

Gr.-granddaughter of Jonathan Morgan, Jr., and Elisabeth Thompson (b. 1753), his wife, m. 1772.
Gr.-gr.-granddaughter of Jonathan Thompson and Elisabeth Warriner, his wife, m. 1750.
Jonathan Thompson, (1727-1824), responded to the Lexington Alarm as a lieutenant and served through the war. He was born in Brimfield, Mass., where he died.
Jonathan Morgan, Jr., (1748-1816), was a minute man at the Lexington Alarm. He was born in Brimfield, and died there.

Daniel Leffingwell, Jr., (1752-78), served as lieutenant in Col. John Ely's regiment of State troops, 1777. He was born in Norwich, Conn.; died there.
Benjamin Olds enlisted, 1776, in Capt. William Cooley's Co., Col. John Moseley's Hampshire county regiment and, 1777, was a minute man at the Bennington Alarm. He died in Granville.

[p.335] Samuel Whitney, (1734-1808), was a member of the Committee of Correspondence and, 1775, was chosen to the Provincial Congress from Concord. He removed from there, 1776. and in 1793 settled in Maine, where he died in Castine. He was born in Marlboro, Mass.
