Israel Frisbie in 1777 served as a sergeant in Captain Camp's company, Col. Noadiah Hooker's regiment. He lived in Branford, Conn.

Nathan Chandler, 1st (1708-84), was a member of the Committee of Safety 1774.
Nathan Chandler, 2nd (1730-86), responded to the Lexington Alarm from Andover, where he was born and died.
Nathan Chandler, 3rd (1756-1837), served several enlistments as a private in the Massachusetts militia.

Zebediah Chandler (1752-1835) marched in response to the Lexington Alarm in Capt. Joshua Holt's 4th Andover company. He was born and died in Andover.
Seth Sumner (1735-1814) was lieutenant in Capt. Ebenezer Withington's company at the Lexington Alarm and captain under Col. Benjamin Gill in the Rhode Island campaign and Castle Island. In 1778 he had risen to the rank of major and in 1783 was delegate to the General Assembly. He was born and died in Milton, Mass.

[p.339] Davis Sumner (1761-1826) was a drummer in Capt. Seth Sumner's company, Col. Benjamin Gill's regiment, Rhode Island service. He was born in Milton, Mass.
Samuel Leeds (1709-78) served as a minute man at the Lexington Alarm from Dorchester, where he was born and died.
Samuel Leeds, Jr. (1735-1814) served in the defense of Dorchester, where he was born and died.
Isaiah Faxon (1734-1810) served as a private under different commands in the Massachusetts militia. He was born in Braintree; died in Boston.

Salmon Whitney (1760-1844) enlisted in the call for troops and 1780 was lieutenant under Capt. William Scott. He was born in Harvard, Mass., where he died, and in the cemetery is an interesting tablet as a memorial.
Jonas Whitney (1727-91) served as a private in Capt. William Thurlow's company, Col. Josiah Whitney's regiment, Rhode Island service 1778. He was born and died in Harvard, Mass.
Jonathan Straw (1725-91), who had served in the early wars, commanded a company of New Hampshire militia 1775. He was born in Salisbury, Mass.; died in Hopkinton, N. H.

Andrew Tewksbury (1763-1846) served as a guard at Pullin Point, Chelsea, by order of Capt. Samuel Sprague 1775. He was born and died in Chelsea, Mass.
David Morse (1746-1801) served as a private in Capt. Ebenezer Colby's company of militia, Col. Johnson's regiment, which marched to the Lexington Alarm. He was born and died in Newbury, Mass.
James Buzzell (1735-1800) was a private in Capt. John Hill's company, Col. Joshua Wingate's regiment to guard Piscataqua Harbor. He was born in Kingston, N. H.; died in Hopkinton.
[p.340] Jonathan Raymond (1735-83) was a private in Capt. Elisha Jackson's company and marched from Westminster to re-enforce the northern army. He was born in Lexington; died in Westminster, Mass.

Moses Harriman (1737-84) served as ensign and lieutenant in Capt. John Savory's company of minute men, Col. Samuel Johnson's regiment, at the Lexington Alarm. He was born and died in Bradford, Mass.
Benjamin Williams (1730-1802) was a private in Capt. Samuel Holden's company, Col. Ebenezer Thayer's Suffolk County regiment, 1780 to re-enforce the Continental army. He was born in Roxbury, Mass.
Benjamin Leach (1735-76) served 1775 in Capt. Eliphalet Daniel's company at Fort Sullivan.
Benjamin Leach, Jr. (1760-1840), was a private in Capt. Caleb Robinson's company, Col. Nathan Hale's regiment, raised in New Hampshire for Continental service. He was born in Haverhill, Mass.; died in Bradford. He was born in Kingston, N. H.; died in Haverhill, Mass.

Daniel Coffin (1720-89) served as private in Capt. Benjamin Smith's company, Col. Beriah Horton's Dukes County regiment. He was born and died in Edgartown.

Joseph Simonds (1739-1813) served as ensign at the battle of Lexington. He was born and died at Lexington.
