Abner Hubbard (1759-1820) enlisted, 1775, as a private in Capt. Warham Park's Massachusetts
company, Col. William Shepherd's regiment. Engaged in battles of Trenton, Princeton, Monmouth
and Stillwater. In 1818 he was placed on the pension roll of Jefferson County, N. Y. He died in
Somerset, N. Y.

[p.138] Henry Dixon (1740-82), in 1775, entered the army as captain of the first regiment. By
precept and example to his troops he inspired them with courage and his soldiers in affection
called him Hal. Among the shattered legions of Gates, at Camden, when his command was driven
back, he would not retreat but sabred his way through foes on all sides. He served as inspector
general after Greene succeeded Gates, and was in the battles of Wetzell's Mills, Guilford and
Eutaw. He was born and died in Caswell Co., N. C.

Jonathan Sawin (1735-1822) responded to the Lexington Alarm from Westminster, Mass., in
Capt. Noah Miles' company, Col. John Whitcomb's regiment; also served several other enlistments
under different commands, 1776-79. He was born in Watertown; died in Westminster, Mass.

Asa Fuller (1752-1836), responded to the Lexington Alarm from West Medway, under command
of Lieut. Moses Adams in Col. John Smith's regiment. He was born in Needham; died in Medway,
Mass.
Joseph Daniels (1736-1823), responded to the Lexington Alarm as private in Capt. Joshua
Partridge's company, Col. John Smith's regiment, and was later promoted captain. He was born
and died in East Medway, Mass.
Thomas Jones (1730-1802), responded to the Lexington Alarm, 3rd company, 4th regiment, in
Capt. Joseph Lovell's company, under Maj. James Metcalf. He was born in East Medway,
Mass.
George Barber (1743-1832), served under Capt. Joshua Partridge at the Lexington Alarm. He
was born and died in Medway, Mass.
