Noyes' regiment, stationed at Falmouth, for sea-coast defense, 1777. He was born in Hampton, N.
H.; died in Portland, Me.
Nathan Safford (1760-1823) enlisted, 1777, serving in Capt. Zadock Buffington's company,
Colonel Johnson's regiment, Massachusetts troops. He was born in Ipswich, Mass.; died in North
Yarmouth, Me.
