Timothy Dorman (1757-1835) responded to the Lexington Alarm as a private in Capt. Jacob
Gerrish's company, and, 1776, as corporal in Capt. Joseph Isley's company, Col. Jonathan
Cogswell's regiment; also served several other enlistments, 1777-79, under different commands.
He was born and died in Boxford.
John Fowler (1715-1803) responded to the Lexington Alarm as private in Capt. Nathaniel Wade's
company. He was born and died in Ipswich.
Allen Perley (1718-1804) responded to the Lexington Alarm as a [p.40] private in Capt. Abraham
How's company. He was born and died in Ipswich.
Samuel Spiller, in 1777, served as a private in Capt. Silas Adams' company, Colonel Titcomb's
Rhode Island regiment. He died, 1824, in Rowley, Mass.
Phineas Warren (1717-97) turned out at the Lexington Alarm in Capt. Abraham Pierce's
company, Col. Thomas Gardner's regiment, and with him were five sons. He was born in
Watertown; died in Waltham, Mass.

Ezra Wildes (1758-1824) served, 1781, as a private in Capt. Tarrant's company, Col. John Crane's
regiment. He was born in Topsfield; died in Rowley, Mass.
Joseph Symonds (1754-1823) served, 1775, as a private in Capt. John Parker's company, Col.
Moses Little's regiment. He was born and died in Boxford.

Nathan Adams (1721-82) was a private in Capt. Marvin's company of Connecticut troops for six
years, and, in 1782, was appointed lieutenant. He died in Westport, Conn.
Thomas Greene (1753-1836) was placed on the pension roll of Broome County, N. Y., 1832, for
service as private, New York troops. He was born in Wilton, Fairfield County, Conn.; died in
Binghamton, Broome County, N. Y.
Daniel Bouton (1743-1820) served as lieutenant in the Westchester County New York militia,
and, 1780, was appointed captain of Levies. He lost his arm, 1781, and, 1784, received a pension.
He died in Boutonville, N. Y.
Ebenezer Johnson (1760-1841) served as privateersman during the Revolution from
Massachusetts or Maine, where he was born. He died in Buffalo, N. Y.

Elmira.
Andrew Everett (1741-1813) enlisted as a private, 1775, and served as sergeant-major, 1778-79,
under Capt. Abel Richards. He was born in Dedham; died in Peru, Mass.
John Smith (1716-93) served on war committees of Wrentham and in the militia at the Lexington
Alarm. He was born in Ireland; died in Wrentham, Mass.
Gamaliel Truesdell (1741-78), who had fought in the French war, was a soldier in the
Revolutionary War; signed the Articles of Association, and was killed at the battle of Wyoming.
He was born in Westchester County, N. Y.

Conn.; died in Bennington, Vt.
