Elijah Wilder (1757-1825) served in Capt. Daniel Robbins' company, Col. Asa Whitcomb's
regiment, at the Lexington Alarm. He responded to the Bennington and Rhode Island Alarms
under Col. Josiah Whitney. He was born in Sterling, Mass.; died in Rochester, N. Y.

tombstone reads: ôA Revolutionary Officer and Patriot of 1776.ö

Saratoga, Stony Point, and White Plains. In 1781 he served under Capt. John Blanchard. He was
born in Concord, Mass.; died in Chatham, Canada.

Caleb Hyde (1739-1820) was a delegate from Lenox to the 2nd Provincial Congress, and also
served as selectman and in the Assembly. He was major of Berkshire County militia during the
Revolution. He died in Broome County, N. Y.
