Edward Everett (1739-1815) commanded a company, 1776, in Colonel Bedel's regiment, New
Hampshire Rangers, in the expedition to Canada. He was born in Dedham, Mass.; died in Peru, N.
Y.
[p.33] George Everett served as a drummer in his father's company, and in 1777 was in Colonel
Bartlett's 7th New Hampshire regiment. He was born, 1763, in Dedham, Mass., and was living in
1800; died at Peru, N. Y.

Lemuel Whitney (1743-1813) in 1777 was a private in Capt. James Shaw's company, Colonel
Pynchon's regiment detached to join General Gates. He was born in Leicester, Mass.; died in
Springfield, Vt.

Isaac Gardner (1726-75) served in the militia at Lexington, and when the engagement was over,
while waiting for his men to rally, he was shot and killed by British soldiers. He was born in
Brookline, Mass.
