ELIZABETH DEVEREUX, married before 1422 JOHN MILBORNE (or MELBORNE), Esq., of Tillington, Burghill, and Munsley, Herefordshire, Bughill and Bulley, Gloucestershire, and Holme Spinney (in Bechingham), Lincolnshire, son and heir of Peter de Milborne, Esq., by Elizabeth, daughter and heiress of John Eyelesford, Knt., of Burghill, Herefordshire. They had nine children. JOHN MILBORNE, Esq., died 7 Sept. 1435. His widow, Elizabeth, died in 1475. They were buried at Burghill, Gloucestershire.

11. SIMON MILBORNE, Esq., of Tillington, Burghill, Almeley, Munsley, and Howton (in Kenderchurch), Herefordshire, etc., and, in right of his wife, of Icomb, Worcestershire, Sheriff of Herefordshire. He married JANE BASKERVILLE, daughter and heiress of Ralph Baskverille, Esq., of Erdesley, Herefordshire, by Anne, daughter and heiress of John Blackett, Knt. They had thirteen daughters, Sybil (wife of Richard Hacklut and John Breynton, Knt.), Elizabeth, Alice (wife of Henry Mill and Thomas Baskerville, Esq.), Blanche (wife of James Whitney, Knt. [sic: Esq.--ABB] and William Herbert, Knt.), Katherine (wife of Thomas Barton), Anne, Agnes (wife of Thomas Walwyn, Esq.), Jane, Joyce (wife of Thomas Hyett), Margaret (wife of John Bishop), Juliane, Eleanor, and Jane (wife of Richard Cornwall, Knt.). SIMON MILBORNE, Esq., died testate 14 August 1522.

Anne Milborne, married William Rudhale, of Rudhale, Herefordshire, Knight of the Shire for Herefordshire, Attorney General to Prince of Wales, 1496-1502, justice in eyre, 1503-9, Attorney General to Queen Katherine of Aragon at the coronation in 1509, Serjeant-at-law, 1521-30, justice of assize, 1523-4, of the Queen's Council, 1529, son of John Rudhale. He was born in 1460. They had three sons, William, John and Charles, and one daughter, Joan. William Rudhale died testate 22 March 1530, and was buried at Ross, Herefordshire. 12. ELIZABETH MILBORNE, daughter and co-heiress. She married (1st) THOMAS MONINGTON, Knt., of Sarnesfield-Waters, Herefordshire. They had oner son, Thomas and one daughter, Sibyl. His widow, Elizabeth, married (2nd) JOHN WHITTINGTON, of Pauntley, Harford (in Naunton), Leigh, and Rodborough, Gloucestershire, son and heir of William Whittington, by Elizabeth, daughter and heiress of Renfrey Arundel, Knt. They had three sons, Thomas John, and Alexander, and two daughters, Margery (wife of Edward Welsh) and Jane (wife of William Harper). John Whittington died in 1525.
