When Ebenezer died, his brother Benjamin was appointed guardian of his minor son, Ebenezer (Worcester Co. Probate, No. 51937). A bond of £100 was required, and real estate at Leicester was set off 25 June 1762 to his widow: "we have sett off to the widow Hannah Sanderson as her thirds for her use & improvement during her natural life". The administrator, Samuel Denney, 14 Jan. 1763, filed a blance remaining of £23.3.2, and the court ordered the amount of £9.17.8 to be paid to the widow; the remaining £13.5.6 was assigned to the use of the creditors, the estate being insolvent.
