Elizabeth (Whitney) Keeler had married Joseph Keeler sometime before October 1706, the date of the birth of a first child for this couple; the birth was recorded later in Ridgefield records. This birth is Rachel Keeler, "daughter of Joseph and Eliza", born 4 October 1706,12 and recorded later in Ridgefield.13

Samuel and Sarah (St. John) Keeler had the following children:
- ii. Joseph3 Keeler was born in 1683 and died on 29 November
- 1757.50 He married probably in 1704 or 1705 Elizabeth3 Whitney, daughter of John2 (Henry1) Whitney.51 Elizabeth died 16 March 1763; her record is "Elizabeth [Keeler], wid. Joseph."52 They had issue.
