Elizabeth (Whitney) Keeler had married Joseph Keeler sometime before October 1706, the date of the birth of a first child for this couple; the birth was recorded later in Ridgefield records. This birth is Rachel Keeler, "daughter of Joseph and Eliza", born 4 October 1706,12 and recorded later in Ridgefield.13

A genealogical summary of the children of Sarah3 (St. John) and Samuel2 Keeler

Samuel and Sarah (St. John) Keeler had the following children:

ii. Joseph3 Keeler was born in 1683 and died on 29 November
1757.50 He married probably in 1704 or 1705 Elizabeth3 Whitney, daughter of John2 (Henry1) Whitney.51 Elizabeth died 16 March 1763; her record is "Elizabeth [Keeler], wid. Joseph."52 They had issue.
