I. Nelson Whitney, b. at Danby, N. Y., 5 Jan. 1823; a farmer, and proprietor of a cheese-factory; married at Corning, N. Y., 31 Dec. 1845, by Bertine Pew, Esq., to Susan Caroline Parcel, dau. of Samuel and Mary (Woodruff) Parcel, of Corning, formerly of Ithaca, N. Y., where she was born 11 March 1824. They dwelt at Corning till 1848; then settled at Whitneyville, Penn., and were living there in June 1876. He served as quartermaster, from 21 Ap. till 21 July 1861, in the 3d Reg., Penn. Vol. Infantry. He then raised a company, which was organized 18 Sept. 1861, sworn into State service 21 Sept. 1861, mustered into U. S. service 14 Oct. 1861, as Co. G, 45th Reg., Penn. Vol. Infantry, and was mustered out at Old Point Comfort, Va., 3 July 1862.

I. Philena Deyo, b. at Newfield, N. Y., 14 Feb. 1829; married at Andover, N. Y., 27 June 1847, Earl Wesley Fuller, a minister of the Universalist Church, son of Earl B. Fuller. She died at Caton, N. Y., 20 Aug. 1860, and was buried there. He was living at Fort Plain, N. Y., in Dec. 1875.
