Episc., to EDWIN MORGAN GRIFFIN, son of Edwin and Hannah Ann (Morgan) Griffin, of "The Evergreens," near Plantersville, Va. He was born in New York City, 23 Aug. 1849. They lived at East Norwich, with her parents, in Feb. 1878.

I., who died there, 16 July 1866, and was buried in The Cemetery of The Evergreens; married (3d) at Astoria, L. I., 24 Oct. 1870, MARY SCOTT, who died 2 Dec. 1870, and was buried at Huntington, L. I. He died at Green Point, L. I., 23 Oct. 1872, and was buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery. He was an active politician and, at the time of his death, was deputy-collector of taxes for the City of Brooklyn, N. Y.
