Whitney Family.

Binghamton, N. Y., where she died 11 Jan. 1868. She was buried at Lawsville, in Liberty, Penn. He was married (2d), 12 Sept. 1868, in Liberty, by Rev. Mr. Smith, Presbyterian, to Mary Amanda Markham, a teacher, who was born in Windsor, 25 Aug. 1842, sister of his first wife. They moved to Geneva, N. Y., in Aug. 1869; and returned, 1 Ap. 1871, to Binghamton, where they were living, at 3 Morgan Street, in 1874.
3845 II. Emily Case, married ----- Dayton, and settled at Great Bend, Penn.

3846 I. Alonzo Whitney, b. at Gibson, Penn., 23 Nov. 1829; a merchant; lived for six years at Susquehanna Depot, Penn.; and then settled at Marysville, Ohio, where he was living in 1868. He was married at Susquehanna Depot, 9 Feb. 1858, by Rev. Mr. Wise, Methodist, to Rubie S. Tuttle, who was born in Broome Co., N.Y., 3 May 1833, dau. of Herman and Susan Tuttle. 10366
3847 II. Charles Franklin Whitney, b. at Gibson, Penn., 22 Feb. 1831; died there, 22 Nov. 1831, and was buried in Union Hill Cemetery.
3848 III. ----- Whitney, a son, b. at Gibson, Penn., 9 Feb. 1833; died there, 27 Feb. 1833, and was buried in Union Hill Cemetery.
3849 IV. Cornelia Eliza Whitney, b. at Gibson, Penn., 12 July 1834; married by Rev. Mr. McCreary, 10 Jan. 1869, to George W. Kent, They settled in Marysville, Ohio, where she died 27 Feb. 1862, and was buried. She had one daughter, name not reported, who died in early infancy.
3850 V. Ellen Maria Whitney, b. at Gibson, Penn., 5 Oct. 1833.
3851 VI. Andrew Duane Whitney, b. at Gibson, Penn., 5 Oct 1845; served for a short time in the war of 1861, when the Confederates invaded Pennsylvania; and lived at Great Bend, Penn., in 1868.
3852 VII. ----- Whitney, a dau., b. at Gibson, Penn., 10 Ap. 1848; died there, 29 Ap. 1848, and was buried in Union Hill Cemetery.
3853 VIII. Frank Everett Whitney, b. at Gibson, Penn., 11 Oct. 1852.
