Whitney, Ann, Miss, and Enoch C. Verrill, int. 4 Jun 1850, cert. 24 Jun 1850. Her ancestry is unknown. Enoch Cordwell Verrill, son of Daniel and Eunice (Cordwell) Verrill, b. 31 Dec 1823, Greenwood, ME, d. 16 Aug 1910, Auburn, ME. He married, 28 Apr 1851, Wilmington, MA, Clara J. Richardson. The marriage record says it was his first marriage, so apparently the marriage to Ann Whitney never took place, in spite of the intentions filed.
Whitney, Lydia, Miss, of Bridgton, and Mr. Simeon Caswell Jun., of Harrison, m. 16 Jan 1815. She was b. ca. Aug 1788, ME, and d. 27 Mar 1872, aged 83 years 7 months. She was buried in Ridge Cemetery, Bridgton, ME. Her husband was Simeon C. Caswell, son of Simeon and Rachel (Staples) Caswell, b. 1 Feb 1790, Poland, ME, and d. 30 Nov 1861, Bridgton, ME. He was buried in Ridge Cemetery, Bridgton, ME. Children: i. Simeon Chaplin Caswell (1822-1868); ii. Abigail Perley Caswell (1725-1838); iii. Rachel Staples Caswell (1829-1907).
