Jump to navigationJump to searchp. 150, #823: Joseph6 WHITNEY did not marry Elizabeth GODDARD. Instead, it was his father who married secondly, 3 Jul 1760, Watertown, MA, Elizabeth GODDARD.
p. 150, #826: Abijah6 WHITNEY was not a son of Joseph5 WHITNEY, #291, but of his cousin Joseph5 WHITNEY, #290. This proven by the latter's will dated 13 Oct 1788, Weston, MA, in which he mentions wife Mary and daughter Mary, wife of Amos FISKE of Weston, and makes son Abijah WHITNEY his executor, according to Middlesex County Probate Records, File #24700.
