p. 63, #648: Mary Gookin5 WHITNEY married, 26 Apr 1792, Gorham, ME, Thomas PAINE of Standish.
p. 63, #649: Elias5 WHITNEY was born 2 Apr 1763, Gorham, ME. He married 14 Dec 1788, Gorham, ME, Polly FOWLER.
p. 63, #650: Jotham5 WHITNEY was born 2 Apr 1766, Gorham, ME. He married, 1 Apr 1792, Gorham, ME, Elizabeth ROSS.
p. 63, #651: Ruth5 WHITNEY was born 25 Jun 1769, Gorham, ME.
p. 63, #214: Lydia (JONES) WHITNEY was born 17 Sep 1705, not 15 Sep 1705, Mendon, MA, and died 4 May 1783, not 4 Mar 1783, aged 77 years, Milford, MA, according to Milford vital records. Jonathan4 WHITNEY died 28 Jan 1755 in his 51st year, according to Milford vital records.
p. 63, #652: Susannah5 WHITNEY married 25 Jun 1752, not 25 Jan 1752, Mendon, MA, Isaac TENNEY, according to Mendon vital records. They had two additional children born in Mendon, MA, for a total of four. Noah and Susannah (WHITNEY)(TENNEY) WISWALL had one additional child born in Mendon, for a total of three.
p. 63, #655: Samuel BOWKER was born 9 Apr 1731, Hopkinton, MA, not 1729, and died 11 Oct 1799, Hopkinton, MA. Lydia5 WHITNEY was not the mother of Daniel BOWKER; that was Lois HARROD, Samuel BOWKER's second wife. I can locate no third wife for him.
p. 63, #658: David5 WHITNEY married Keziah MARSHALL and Rachel RAWSON.
p. 63, #659: Sarah5 WHITNEY married Wales CHENEY on either 10 Nov 1756, according to Mendon vital records, or 20 Nov 1756, according to Milford vital records. There was an additional child, Susanna CHENEY.
p. 63, #219: Elias4 WHITNEY was born in Sherborn, not Holliston, MA, according to Sherborn vital records. His death is recorded in Milford and Bellingham, MA. His second wife may have been Elizabeth (RICE) BOYDEN, widow of John BOYDEN of Worcester and Auburn, MA (who died in 1773).
p. 63, #662: Ann Mellens5 WHITNEY was named after her mother's younger sister, Anne Mellen, who had died young.
