He married, 3 Dec 1746, Groton, MA, Rachel Lawrence, daughter of Zechariah and Abigail (Parker) Lawrence. She was born 1727, Groton, MA, and died 6 Oct 1756, Groton, MA.
He was also known as John Chamberlin, Jr.

John Chamberlain, b. 27 Feb 1751/52; bapt. 8 Mar 1752, Pepperell, MA; d. 30 Dec 1773, Pepperell, MA. iv. Ede Chamberlain, b. 9 Oct 1754; bapt. 17 Nov 1754, Pepperell, MA. She was also known as Eda Chamberlin.
