Josiah Farnsworth (Mary Pierce, Mary³ Whitney, Joshua², John¹), son of Josiah and Mary (Pierce) Farnsworth, was born 4 Jan 1721, Groton, MA,^[1] and died 3 Sep 1807.^[2]

He married, 27 Jul 1743, Groton, MA, Hannah Buttrick, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Lawrence) Buttrick. She was born 13 May 1728, Littleton, MA.
