Oliver Pierce (Ephraim, Mary³ Whitney, Joshua², John¹), son of Ephraim and Esther (Shedd) Pierce, born 17 Jul 1741, Groton, MA, and died 6 Mar 1815.

He married, 19 May 1768, Lunenburg, MA, Mary Smith, daughter of Jonathan and Susanna (Stearns) Smith. She was born 19 Oct 1743, Lunenburg, MA, and died in 1827.
