Daniel Shattuck (William, Ruth³ Whitney, John², John¹), son of William and Hannah (Underwood) Shattuck, was born circa 1692 and died 17 Mar 1760, Hinsdale, NH.^[1]

He married firstly, 16 Apr 1719, Marlborough, MA, Martha Serjeant, daughter of Digory and Constance (James) Serjeant. She was born circa 1694, Worcester, MA, and died 1722, Worcester, MA.

He married secondly, 7 May 1724, Northfield, MA, Rebecca Boltwood, daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Lewis) Boltwood. She was born 1 Aug 1691, Hadley, MA, and died 16 Mar 1757, Hinsdale, NH.

Children of Daniel and Martha (Serjeant) Shattuck:

i.	Sarah Shattuck, b. circa 1720, Westborough, MA; d. Nov 1761, Westborough, MA; m. 24 May 1744, Westborough, MA, Elijah Rice.

Children of Daniel⁵ and Rebecca (Boltwood) Shattuck, all born Northfield, MA:

i.	Martha Shattuck6, b. 2 Apr 1725.
ii.	Daniel Shattuck, b. 11 Apr 1727; m. Mary Smith 1753 at Amherst, MA; first wife; m. Lucy Clapp; d. 7 Apr 1809 at Hinsdale, NH, at age 81.
iii.	Phebe Shattuck, b. 27 Dec 1729; m. Reuben Ingram 1755; d. 4 May 1806 at Amherst, MA, at age 76.
iv.	Gideon Shattuck, b. 20 Oct 1732.
