On 17 Apr 1713, the will of her father mentions eldest daughter Hutchins's children, her eldest son John Hutchins (under 21), and the rest of her children (under 21), and her three daughters,[16]

13.^ Some authorities claim she was daughter of Jonathan and Dorothy (Kidder) Hyde, born 7/17 Oct 1685, Newton, MA, but that lady married John Pike who didn't die until 1754, and she survived him. Others claim she was Sarah (Pike) Bacon, widow of Joseph Bacon of Woodstock (1700-1757), but he didn't die in time for this marriage. She might have been the widow of his father, Joseph Bacon of Roxbury and Woodstock (1666-1741), whose wife Margaret (Bowen) Bacon died in 1727, but I have found no record of a second marriage for him.

Some references give Sarah the birthdate of her sister Elizabeth, or even say that Sarah was baptized under the name Elizabeth, but the fact that her grandfather's will mentions his daughter Hutchins's three daughters indicates that they were, indeed, separate people.
