Albert W. Whitney (Belden), son of Belden and Ruth (-----) Whitney), was born about 1840, (prob. Sharon,) CT, and died 1 Aug 1888, Norwalk CT, aged 47 years.[1] He was buried in the East Norwalk Historical Cemetery, Norwalk, CT.[2]
He married, before 1870, Eliza Ann Brush, daughter of Henry J. and Vesta A. (-----) Brush. She was born 14 Aug 1843, and died 30 Aug 1902, from heart disease.[3] She was buried in the East Norwalk Historical Cemetery, Norwalk, CT.[4]
He was a janitor, living on Butler Street, listed in the 1887-1888 Norwalk City Directory.[5]
He served in Company L, 1st Connecticut Cavalry, during the Civil War.[6]
