In 1880 he resided in Cave City, Barren Co., KY, working as a laborer in the George Carpenter family. iv. (son) Whitney, b. Jun 1858, Barren Co., KY. Listed as "dead". v. John Whitney, b. 25 Dec 1859, Barren Co., KY.
Notes
Residing just two households from his son Alex in 1880 was a Robert Whitney, age 47, and Martha Whitney, age 55. Robert could have been a younger brother of Alfonso.
