Amaziah⁷ Whitney (Amaziah⁶, Abner⁵, John⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of Amaziah⁶ and Sarah (Boyington) Whitney, was born 22 Jul 1803, and died 7 Aug 1853. He was buried in Rose Cemetery, Maryland, NY.^[1]

He married, before 1839, Margaret S. Taylor, daughter of James and Elizabeth (Menzies) Taylor. She was born 27 Dec 1818, Scotland, and died 29 Mar 1895. She was buried in Rose Cemetery, Maryland, NY.^[2]
