Arthur8 Whitney (Fielder Spaulding7, Samuel6, Samuel5, Matthias4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Fielder Spaulding7 and Nancy Ann (Warren) Whitney, was born 6 Jul 1847, Killingly, CT, and died 4 Apr 1926, Putnam, CT. He was buried in High Street Cemetery, Dayville, CT.[1]
He married, about 1871, Julia S. Reynolds. She was born Mar 1848, RI, and died 23 May 1924. She was buried in High Street Cemetery, Dayville, CT.[2]

i. Marian Myrtis9 Whitney, b. ca. Jan 1878, Putnam, CT; m. 27 Dec 1905, Providence, RI [recorded at Lowell, MA], Arthur L. Willey, b. ca. 1877, Lawrence, MA, son of Eben and Wilhemina C. (Lewis) Willey.[3] In the 1900 census, she is listed as "Emma D." Whitney.
