Benjamin5 Whitney (Benjamin4, Josiah3, [prob.] Benjamin2, John1), son of Benjamin4 and Rebekah (Beal) Whitney, was born 11 Jan 1751, Willington, CT,[1] and died say 1810.

He married, say 1771, ----- -----, of whom nothing is known.

They lived near Belchertown, MA at least from 1776 (perhaps earlier) to 1786 (or later).

Benjamin was in the Revolutionary War. [details to be added]

i. William6 Whitney, b. about 1772; bapt. 31 Aug 1778, Belchertown, MA;[2] d. 2 Sep 1778, Belchertown, MA.[3]
ii. Martha Whitney, b. [unknown]; bapt. 31 Aug 1778, Belchertown, MA;[4] d. [unknown].
iii. (son) Whitney, b. about Jul 1785, [prob.] Belchertown, MA; d. 7 Feb 1786, Belchetown, MA.[5]
