Benjamin Lincoln8 Whitney (Nicholas Bowes7, Phinehas6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Nicholas Bowes7 and Ann (Adams) Whitney, was born 24 Jun 1810,[1] Hingham, MA, and died 30 May 1855, Cambridge, MA, aged 55 years, of varioloia, merchant, b. Hingham.[2]
He "of Boston" married, 23 Aug 1837, Cambridge, MA, Caroline St. Aubyn Homer,[3] daughter of Andrew and Ruth (Doane) Homer. She was born about -- Nov 1814,[4] Lincoln, MA, and died 26 Feb 1876, Cambridge, MA, aged 61 years 3 months, of dropsy.[5]
He was a member of the firm of Fearing & Whitney.[6]

Whitney, b. 2 Oct 1849, Cambridge, MA;[15] d. 28 Jul 1910, State Hospital, Worcester, MA (recorded in Cambridge, MA), aged 60 years, of dysentery;[16] m. 30 Sep 1873, Newton, MA, Francis E.
