Buford Whorton11 Whitney (Julian Walter10, Luther H.9, Edgar8, Luther7, Samuel6, Joseph5, Timothy4, John3, John2, John1), son of Julian10 and Evelyn (Whorton) Whitney, was born 14 Jan 1915, Grundy County, MO, and died 15 Jul 2013, Mission Viejo, CA.
He married 27 June 1937, Trenton, MO, Mavis Pauline Buzzard, daughter of Elza and Mamie (Dunn) Buzzard. She was born 5 Sep 1916, Grundy County, MO, and died 9 Apr 2012, Laguna Hills, CA.
Buford attended Trenton (Mo.) schools graduating in 1933 from Trenton High School.
Pauline at the age of 2, her father was fatally shot on Main Street in Trenton, during the Nov/ 11, 1918 victory celebration at the end of World War I.
They lived in Grundy County, MO, before moving to California in 1948. Buford was employed by the Redondo Beach City School District.
They are buried in the Westminister Memorial Park Mausoleum, Westminister, CA.
