Charles8 Whitney (Stephen7 Whitney, Timothy6, Moses5, Timothy4, John3, John2, John1), son of Stephen7 Whitney and Ruth (Whittemore) Whitney, was born about 9 Jun 1813, Roxbury, MA, and died 20 Jun 1851, Sherborn, MA, aged 38 years 11 days, of dropsy in the heart, farmer.[1]
Marriage intentions were published 12 Sep 1839, Holliston, MA, for him and Susan Sanger "of Sherburne".[2] He "of Holliston" married, 2 Oct 1839, Sherborn, MA, Susan Sanger,[3] daughter of David and Susanna (Johnson) Sanger. She was born 26 Oct 1820, Sherborn, MA, and died 19 Mar 1902, Holliston, MA, aged 81 years 4 months 21 days, of chronic rheumatism and bedsore.[4]
