He married, 2 Dec 1857, Fitchburg, MA, Mary Knowlton, daughter of Emery and Polly (-----) Knowlton.[3] She was born 19 May 1836, Gardner, MA.[4]
He was born in Gardner, where he still resides engaged in the agricultural pursuits. For many years he has been an overseer of the poor; resided Gardner, MA.
