He married, 25 Aug 1892, New York, NY, Ann Sophia (Cheney) Keppel, daughter of William and Ruth (Larson) Cheney.[2] She was born May 1846, Philadelphia, PA, and died 27 Oct 1926, New Haven, CT. She was buried in Central Burying Grounds, Hamden, CT.[3] She had married firstly, before 1867, Henry Keppel, by whom she had had four children.
Clarence and Ann Sophia (Cheney)(Keppel) Whitney probably had no children.
