Cyrus6 Whitney (Henry5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Henry5 and Abigail (Walker) Whitney, was born 29 Oct 1801, North Yarmouth[1] or Cumberland, ME, was baptized 29 Oct 1801, North Yarmouth, ME, and died 5 February 1830.
Marriage intentions were published 27 Mar 1824, Mount Vernon, ME, for him and Sophia Stearns. He married, 22 Apr 1824, Chesterville or New Sharon, ME, Sophia Stearns, daughter of Josiah and Sarah (Whittier) Stearns. She was born 31 Aug 1800, Mount Vernon, ME. She married secondly, before 1832, James M. Manson, who died 1841.
Also shows up in the VR's of Chesterville, but with the date 29 Oct 1795.
