Daniel Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about Jan 1764, and died 10 Dec 1814, Nantucket, MA, aged 50 years 11 months.[1]

He "of Boston" married 30 Sep 1788, Nantucket, MA, Sally Coffin, daughter of Timothy and Priscilla (Cook) Coffin.[2] She was born 31 Aug 1770, Nantucket, MA, and died 28 Oct 1811, Nantucket, MA, aged 40 years.[3]

Daniel was described as "of Boston" at marriage.
