David5 Whitney (Matthias4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Matthias4 and Alice (Robbins) Whitney, was born either 3 May 1764, Killingly, CT,[1] or 3 May 1754, Killingly, CT,[2] and died 6 Aug 1831, Augusta Township, Grenville County, ON,[3] or Mar 1830. He was buried in Maynard Cemetery, Augusta, ON.[4]
He married firstly, about 1789, Killingly, CT, Olive Day, daughter of Comfort and Esther (Day) Day. She was born 3 Sep 1768, Attleborough, MA, and died about 1810, Augusta Township, Grenville County, ON.
He married secondly, about 1811, Augusta Township, Grenville County, ON, Mary Glassford, daughter of Lytle and Sarah (Wragg) Glassford. She was born 10 May 1787, Williamstown, Glengarry Co., ON, and died 4 Apr 1832, Augusta Township, Grenville County, ON. She was buried in Maynard Cemetery, Augusta, ON.[5]
He resided in Killingly, CT, and Augusta Township, Grenville County, ON, Canada.
