Edward T.⁷ Whitney (Zaccheus⁶, Jonathan⁵, Zaccheus⁴, Jonathan³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Zaccheus⁶ and Fanny (Tucker) Whitney, was born about 20 May 1805, Boston, MA, and died 15 Aug 1879, Cambridge, MA, aged 74 years 2 months 25 days, of apoplexy, widower, surveyor of lands, son of Zaccheus (b. Lancaster) and Fanny (b. Salem).^[1]

Marriage intentions were published 18 May 1833, Cambridge, MA, for him and Lydia L. Brigham "of Northborough".^[2] He "of Cambridge" married, 9 Jun 1833, Northborough, MA, Lydia L. Brigham "of Northborough",^[3] daughter of Samuel and Mary (Ball) Brigham. She was born 2 Nov 1809.
