Eli6 Whitney (Zebulon5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Zebulon5 and Joanna (Stone) Whitney, was born 16 Aug 1786, Gorham, ME,[1] and died 1865, Gorham, ME.
He married, 19 Apr 1811, Damaris Stone, daughter of Jonathan and Damaris (Elder) Stone. She was born 18 Oct 1787, Gorham, ME, and died 19 Jul 1872.

Mary Ann had one son: Eli Este Butterfield, b. 8 Apr 1857, Gorham, ME. v. Jonathan S. Whitney, b. 11 Mar 1825, Gorham, ME; m. 31 Mar 1858, Rachel A. Hopkinson. vi. Caroline Whitney, b. 6 Jul 1827, Gorham, ME; d. 1867, Gorham, ME.
