He married, 12 Nov 1847, Brooklyn, NY, Mary Helen Van Voast, daughter of Giles and Angelica (-----) Van Voast. She was born 25 Dec 1825, Albany, NY, and died after 1880.
Phoenix says the following:
- ". . . an artist, designing and engraving on wood . . . . They settled at Brooklyn; and were living there, at 87 St. James' Place, in Aug. 1874."
