Elizabeth5 Whitney (Benjamin4, Joseph3, John2, John1), daughter of Benjamin4 and Elizabeth (Fiske) Whitney, was born 9 Mar 1718/9, Watertown, MA.[1] If her second husband was Jonathan Child, then she died 21 Sep 1807, Weston, MA, aged 88 years.

Marriage intentions were published 16 Oct 1747, Weston, MA, for her "of Waltham" and William McCune "of Weston".[2] She "of Waltham" married, 26 Nov 1747, Weston, MA, William McCune "of Weston".[3] He was born said 1729, Scotland, and died 1807, West Brattleboro, VT.

She married secondly, after 1758 and before 13 Dec 1805, ----- Child, possibly Jonathan Child "of Watertown", son of Joseph and Mary (Thatcher) Child. He was born 3 Jul 1714, Watertown, MA, and died 4 May 1774, Watertown, MA. He had married firstly, before 1738, Elizabeth -----. She died probably after 1761.

They owned the covenant 28 Aug 1748, Weston, MA.

Pierce says the following:[4]

ELIZABETH [WHITNEY], b. Mar. 9, 1718,; m. Nov. 26, 1747, William McCUNE, of Weston. Ch.: Lydia, b. Oct., 1748; Isaac, b. May 31, 1750. She prob. m. 2d, ----- CHILD. (See her bro. Samuel's will.)

v. William McCune, bapt. 4 Apr 1756, Weston, MA.
vi. Grace McCune, bapt. 1 Oct 1758, Weston, MA; d. 24 Oct 1811; m. ca. 1772, Moses Nash.
vii. John McCune; m. Sarah Harris.
